Dear Parents,
Once again we welcome you and your children to our Parish School of Religion (PSR).
We take this program seriously because of our gift of faith. Our relationship with God and others is so vital for us who are Catholic Christians.
While the teachers strive to instruct your children in the faith and to share by their example what it means to be a follower of Christ, it is you as parents who are the primary educators. For this reason, we try to include activities and events in which you, the parents, may participate.
By your participation in the Mass every Sunday (Saturday evening), Holy Days, and by your examples of charity, justice and prayer, you will have more of a religious impact on your children than the teachers and staff of the PSR.
We look forward to working with you this year. Your participation and support can truly enrich this process of Religious Education, which began in Baptism and ends the day we meet our Savior face-to-face.
